World Renowned Orchestra to Bring 'The Very Best of the Last Night of the Proms' to Christchurch Park, Ipswich, Suffolk in Spectacular Firework Concert |

On
Saturday 10th July 2010 the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will be
bringing the magic of 'The Very Best of The Last Night of the Proms'
to thousands of people in Christchurch Park, Ipswich. With gates
opening at 4.30pm ticket holders will be encouraged to gather their
friends, their picnics and their flags and be ready for an evenings
entertainment which will culminate in a massive firework finale.
The
event will feature some of the most popular Proms classics, including
Land of Hope and Glory, Jerusalem, Nessun Dorma, Rule Britannia,
Sailor's Hornpipe, Toréador's Song, 1812 Overture, Nimrod, and many
more.
The
Royal Philharmonic Orchestra have an established relationship with
Suffolk, most recently at their sell-out performance of the Regent
Theatre's 80th Anniversary Gala Concert with Lesley Garrett in
November last year.
Available
from 19th February general admission tickets will cost £19.50 per
person, with a limited number of seated tickets priced at £30 per
person (booking fees apply). For parties booking 10 or more
tickets there is a 10% group booking discount, as well as corporate
hospitality packages available.

If any
tickets are still remaining they will increase in price from 1st June.
The costs will then be £24.50 per person for general admission and £40
per person for seated tickets.
The
gates will open at 4.30pm to give attendees sufficient time to enjoy
their picnics. The concert will commence at 7.45pm and will
finish with the explosive fireworks finale at around 10pm.

This
event will be one of the highlights of this year's award winning Ip-art
festival which will be launched in May
2010.
